BIG CHALLENGE
Coastal Zones Surveying Dynamic near-shore environments with difficult access due to extremely shallow water, rapid tidal changes near shoals and reefs – all making it for dangerous and ineffective operations if traditional survey technique is applied.
OUR SOLUTION
The combination of USV and UAV survey platforms. Flying the UAV at low water and sailing the USV at high water to produce a seamless land/sea topography-bathymetry 3D (Digital Elevation Model) and aerial mapping dataset at the highest resolution possible.
GOAL
To obtain the comprehensive datasets ensuring a common, science-based framework for decision making that supports a wide range of coastal management applications protecting socio-economic activity and sustaining the ecological functioning of coastal zones!
