WAMS team provides a full suite of 3D inspections ensuring the most accurate and fast assessment of the structural conditions that affect the lifecycle of an asset located in coastal zones.

Implementing advanced technology WAMS can also provide a rapid post crisis (flood or earthquake event) damage assessment survey to detect any risks undermining the stability of the construction which may gradually lead to a failure of the facility.

WAMS implements a combined simultaneous high-specification survey sensor acquisition to obtain a high-density seamless coverage dataset for the structural integrity monitoring. We merge marine and terrestrial survey techniques – multibeam echosounder and scanning LiDAR deployed on a sea surface platform complemented with the airborne high-resolution stereophotogrammetric and LiDAR inspection.
The goal of the combined sensors acquisition implementation is to provide a 3D perspective of coastal assets, a so called “digital twin” offering a cost-effective substitute for traditional methods of inspection and monitoring.

The point cloud-based 3D technologies open great opportunities for the asset owners:

• Timely and cost-effective monitoring of the actual condition of structures (both above-water and subsea parts), including the control of the foundation scouring – the most common cause of the nearshore infrastructure damage and shutdowns
